And in 2002, he was proudly chosen to accompany for a famous Chinese opera actor, Lee Bou-Chung, in the new production of a celebrated Chinese opera ”The White-haired Girl”. Besides performing regularly with the Sizhukong Jazz Ensemble, Chih-Ping is currently the music director of BCC (Broadcasting Corporation of China) Chinese Orchestra and an active instructor in varuious community colleges.

Chih-ping Huang is one of the most active dizi/xiao (Chinese flutes) players in Taiwan, both on stage and in recording studio. His performing experiences range from traditional Chinese music, Peking opera to popular music. After winning the champion in the 1992 Taiwan National Dizi Competition, Chih-Ping was invited to tour in Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian cities.
