Liuqin ,Ruan/ Chih-Ling Chen
Chih-Ling Chen is one of the most promising Liu-Qin and Ruan players in the new generation of Chinese music scene. She had a solid training in the performing arts of Chinese Classical and Theatrical music, and was prioritized chosen to enroll in the Department of Classical Chinese music at China Culture University (CCU), which is known as Taiwan’s most prestigious academy of its field. During the years at CCU, Ms Chen was the principal Liu-Qin player in the school’s major Chinese orchestra and the winner of the “best young performer” competition.

Besides the academy held competition, Ms Chen’s outstanding performances have made her a winner of various national wide competitions. Ms Chen is currently an instructor at various schools throughout Metro-Taipei District and, an active performer with the renowned Yu Wen Peng Jazztet, as well as a resident musician at the Taiwan’s resort landmark: The Grand Hotel.
